Most 2–3 bedroom homes take 2–3 hours. Larger homes with 4+ bedrooms can take 4–5 hours. First visits can take up to 30 minutes longer than ongoing visits, while your cleaner gets to know your home.

No. Most of our regular clients give their cleaner a spare key or access code, and the cleaner locks up when they leave. If you'd prefer to be home, that's fine too — your cleaner will work around you.

Yes. We assign one cleaner to your home, and they come on the same day, at the same time, every visit. If your regular cleaner is ever unavailable, we'll let you know in advance and send a fill-in if you want it.

Most of our regular clients provide their own products and equipment — it keeps your costs down, and your cleaner uses what works in your home. If you'd rather we supplied everything, we can bring professional products and equipment for an additional charge. Just let us know when you book.

Yes. You can switch between weekly and fortnightly, skip a clean, or pause your service whenever you need to. We just ask for 24 hours' notice so we can rearrange the schedule. No lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees.

Yes. Every Excel Cleaning team member is fully insured for public liability and carries a current national police check. If anything is accidentally damaged during a clean, it’s covered.

Let us know within 24 hours and we'll come back and fix it, free of charge. If you're still not satisfied, we'll refund the visit in full. We've been cleaning Melbourne homes since 2013, and the same standard applies whether it's your first clean or your hundredth.

Some tasks aren't part of a standard clean but can be added on request — interior windows, oven deep clean, fridge interior, inside cupboards and drawers, skirting boards, and laundry services like wash, dry and fold or light ironing. These are charged as extra time. Arrange with your cleaner before your service, or let the office know when you book.

We don't move heavy furniture, clean exterior windows, or handle pest control or yard work — let us know if you need those, and we can suggest other services.
